This project began with the question, “If modern people were to create letters from scratch, what symbols and meanings would they carry?” Just as hieroglyphs were once used as talismans, I drew inspiration from traditional Korean talismans and reinterpreted them in a contemporary poster. Modern people are constantly busy and what we lack most is a moment to breathe. This realization led to the theme of the project: “take a breath.”
